About Zincoat Cold Galvanising Zinc Painting
Zincoat is a high performance, complete corrosion inhibitive primer and finish coating, all in one can. It is intended for use in atmospheric exposure to protect carbon steel, including Hot Dipped Galvanizing (HDG).
Zincoat boasts the most elevated concentration of metallic zinc available in the industry, setting the benchmark for enviromental and ethical responsibility.
When correctly applied to a properly prepared surface, Zincoat provides Cathodic Protection and Durability comparable to HDG and will not blister, peel or allow under-creep of corrosion.
The application of fresh Zincoat to old, clean and intact Zincoat allows the special reversible binder to form one, homogenous film – no layering like traditional coatings.
Zincoat can be used for 100% maintenance replenishment of degraded atmospherically exposed HDG to extend the service life of galvanised structures and reduces the life cycle costs.
As part of appropriately planned maintenance, Zincoat surface protection can extend the service life of steel and HDG steel structures for as long as required.
